Below is a testimonial from an E-470 customer regarding the Safety Patrol:

Dear Mr. Kristick,

I wanted to pass along my appreciation for the safety patrol services you provide. I am writing this evening to bring to your attention a situation that occured earlier tonight for which we received road-side assistance. My 4 year old daughter and I were heading home on 470 towards Superior after dropping mom off at the airport and we experienced an untimely flat tire. It was dark, very cold, and I was having trouble getting the spare tire loose from under my vehicle. My daughter was tired and scared and I was becoming very frustrated at the situation.

I was on the phone with a tow truck company when one of your plow operators, Barry, stopped to see if he could help. Being new to the area, I didn't realize that road-side assistance was available on this highway. He dispatched road assistance and within 15 minutes, Jim arrived in the road assistance van. Having a vehicle with emergency lights put me at ease since being stranded on the highway gives the uncomfortable feeling of being a "sitting duck".

Jim helped in getting the spare tire loose, used his hydraulic jack, and helped with changing the flat tire. Jim was very courteous and I owe a big thank you to him and for the services you provide.

I would be grateful if you personally recognize Jim for his efforts. It was probably a "routine flat tire" in the eyes of the services you provide, but he put us at ease and got us back on the road (and back home) in a very timely fashion.

Thank you again!

Ehren K.
