Permits 

Extra-Legal / Oversize 
No oversized vehicle is permitted to travel on E-470 without an EXpressToll account. For information on Oversize Loads on E-470, click here .

Access Permits
An Access Permit is required whenever you access the E-470 ROW or MUE. An access permit allows for surveying, maintenance of existing utilities installed by Permit or Common Use Agreement and other items deemed necessary by the Authority. It does not allow any movement of dirt, fences, signs, etc.

Construction Permits
A Construction Permit is required for, but not limited to: installation of new utilities across the E-470 Highway, maintenance of existing utilities installed by Permit or Common User Agreement, access on the E-470 ROW and/or MUE, construction of any facility in the E-470 ROW and/or MUE and other items as deemed necessary by the Authority.

Highway Expansion Fees

In 1989, the Highway Expansion Fee ('HEF') was introduced and adopted by the E-470 Public Highway Authority Board of Directors and implemented in Segment I in 1989 by E-470. It was implemented for Segments II, III, and IV in 1993 and 1995 respectively, as construction commenced.
